Doctors as alumni

Helsinki Alumni is the largest professional network in Finland. We are currently over 30 000. By registering as a member of the University of Helsinki alumni community you can stay in contact with the university and utilize the alumni services. We offer you a multidisciplinary network to deepen your know-how, share your experiences and e.g. support new students. As alumni you will get invitations to interesting events and receive a digital edition of the Yliopisto journal by email. You can also reserve an alumni working space at the Main library and much more.

You are also warmly welcome to develop our alumni activities together with the University of Helsinki. Together we can strengthen the impact of our university, offer event better education and support even more diverse and innovative research. The larger alumni community, the stronger university.

Joining the alumni community is free. Join quickly and easily using the electronic alumni registration form.

When registering to the alumni community, you can also easily join the The Alumni Association of the University of Helsinki. The association accepts as members all current and former degree students. As a paying member of the Alumni Association you will have access to a uniquely diverse programme consisting of seminars, lectures, trips and parties. You will receive Yliopisto magazine either digitally or in print to your home or office, discounts on concert tickets, magazines, books, courses and sports services as well as the opportunity to have your say at the University.

Graduation does not signal the end of learning or the conclusion of your connection to the University, as the University of Helsinki offers alumni a variety of ways to update and deepen their learning. HY+ offers further and continuing education opportunities for research and practical needs in the form of a range of courses, events and lectures.
