Old doctoral degree requirements

From this page, you will find the faculties' old postgraduate degree requirements. These requirements apply to students who have started their studies prior to August 1st, 2017 and have not yet transferred to the new, doctoral programme -specific degree structures.

The transfer period of the doctoral degree reform is ongoing and will end on December 18, 2020. Once the transfer period ends, all doctoral students who have not yet completed their doctoral doctoral studies and/or had their public defence will be automatically transferred to the new, doctoral programme -specific degree structures. If you are still completing your degree following the old, major subject -specific degree requirements, please acquaint yourself with the instructions related to the degree reform and transferring as soon as possible.
