A Bachelor’s degree is an undergraduate degree that can be completed in 34 degree programmes at the University of Helsinki. In pharmacy, the undergraduate degree is called pharmacist and in law, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). In medicine and dentistry, there is no undergraduate degree; instead, the Bachelor of Medicine and the Bachelor of Dentistry are titles that are granted after certain studies have been completed.

Some Bachelor’s degree programmes feature alternative specialisations for completing the degree. Depending on the degree programme, specialisation applications are submitted at different stages of the Bachelor’s degree. You can see the specialisation application instructions applicable to you by selecting the right degree programme at the top of the page. The degree content in different specialisations differ to a varying extent.
