Sisu instructions: a study module’s assessment request

By selecting a degree programme you are able to see the general content as well as the possible degree programme-specific content. You do not have to select a degree programme to see the Open University's instructions.

Before you request the compilation of a study module in Sisu, please read carefully the instructions on the page Study modules and their compilation.

Please note that compiled study modules cannot be dismantled. If you are not quite sure if there will be changes in the content of the module, it is advisable to do the compilation only upon graduation. Upon graduation, your study modules will be automatically compiled and you will not need to make separate assessment requests.

You can apply for the compilation of a study module in Sisu on the Structure of studies page. You can make the request after you have completed all mandatory courses in the study module. In this case, the status of the study module is ‘Parts completed’.  

Submitting a study module assessment request

  1. Click the code under the name of the study module

Cancelling an assessment request

Cancelling an assessment request is possible as long as the request has not been approved or registered in the Student Services. It is not possible to dismantle a compiled module that has been assessed in Sisu.

  1. Select ‘My profile’ from the main menu in Sisu.
  2. Click open the Applications and requests tab.

  3. Click the name of the request for a study module assessment.

  4. Click the Cancel the assessment request button.
