Since AI Hackathon invites students to Turku: 15 Industry Challenges, a €50,000 prize and a quest appearance by Google Web AI Lead

On 6–8 November 2026, more than 1,000 students and builders will gather in Turku, Finland for 72 hours to solve 15 real challenges from organisations.

Challenge organisations include Valmet, Bayer, Elisa, Meyer Turku, Revvity, FORCIT Group and Traficom.

• €50,000 cash prize pool
• Google Web AI Lead Jason Mayes is travelling from San Francisco to Turku to speak and mentor builders in person
• Participation and meals are completely free
• The strongest teams continue for another eight weeks toward pilots, commercialisation and potentially new companies

Students from every field are warmly welcome to apply.

You do not need a technical background, an existing startup or even a finished idea. Teams also need people in business, design, product, research, science, health, law, communications and many other disciplines.
