Are Finnish Values Diverging? – Join the Finnish-language Discussion at Think Corner on April 8th!
Are women more left-liberal while men lean more conservative and right-wing? Recent news has highlighted a growing gap in values, political attitudes, and religiosity between young men and women. Is this divide real, and how does Finland compare to global trends?
What do we actually know about recent shifts in Finnish values and political attitudes? Are the most significant divides found elsewhere than between genders? And has religion made a comeback in Finnish society and politics?
Discussing these questions are Professor Titus Hjelm, Doctoral Researcher Veikko Isotalo, and University Researcher Sointu Leikas, with moderation by Suomen Kuvalehti’s Managing Editor Vappu Kaarenoja. The event is organized in collaboration with Suomen Kuvalehti.
Join us at Think Corner on Tuesday, April 8th, from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, or follow the live stream.
Street address: Think Corner, Yliopistonkatu 4, Helsinki. The discussion will be held in Finnish.
