Are you interested in sustainability and climate change? Explore the Climate University’s autumn course offering!
As a student at the University of Helsinki, you can study climate and sustainability related Climate University courses at Climate University partner institutions through cross-studies, in addition to the Climate University courses offered at University of Helsinki. The Climate University network offers a wide range of courses in themes such as sustainability, climate change, systems change, circular economy, planetary health and many other related subjects.
The Climate University network offers courses with lectures and courses you can study at your own pace. Most of the courses in autumn semester 2026 are taught in English, but the self-study courses include courses than can be completed in Finnish as well. The courses are organized as online teaching, which means you can be located anywhere in Finland.
In autumn semester you may study for example:
- Climate.now at the University of Helsinki in period 2, or as a self-study course at LUT or at the University of Helsinki
- Sustainable.now at LUT in period 2 or as self-study at the University of Helsinki by the name Introduction to Sustainability
- Circular.now at University of Helsinki, LUT or Karelia University of Applied Sciences.

You can find the Climate University courses available for cross-studying in your own study information system Sisu. Go to Search for courses and select Cross-Institutional courses. In the field for Cross-Institutional Network select Climate University. You can use other selection criteria if necessary.
