“What the heck is entrepreneurship? Could it really work for me?"

We get it. It sounds like something other people do. People with business degrees. Startup people. People with big connections. But what if it isn’t?

The University’s PATHWAYS idea-stage entrepreneurship programme is an opportunity for you to dip your toe and explore entrepreneursip on your own terms, without having to commit to anything past the two months of lectures and workshops. Think of it as an introductory course: no prerequisites, no pressure! Just the chance to see where your ideas can take you.

And if at some point afterwards, you feel you’ve found your path and you’re ready to take the next step? We’ll be there to help.

WHAT:

2 months of workshops, lectures, and dedicated coaching by experts where you'll learn step-by-step how to develop even the vaguest idea into an effective solution, and build a basic business plan around that idea.

WHY:

Come learn useful entrepreneurial and work-life skills which can help you even if you don’t pursue entrepreneurship, find out what makes an idea viable and how companies start & function, and meet an interdisciplinary community interested in entrepreneurship. Plus, 5 ECTS for degree students and doctoral researchers for completing the programme and associated tasks.

FOR WHOM:

The programme is open to anyone in the Helsinki region: university students, researchers, alumni, staff, or anyone else wanting to find their own path.

WHEN:

Call for applications closes 16 March, programme will run from 29 March to 2 June in the City Centre. Open info session on 26 February at 17:00 in Porthania.
