Could You Be the Next Student Representative? Join Us on 30 September for an Info Session!
Have you always wondered what student representatives do, or would you like to influence matters at the university? Join us on 30 September from 16:00 to 17:00 at the Guidance Corner of the Kaisa House for an engaging information session. We’ll cover everything you need to know about being a student representative at the University of Helsinki.
The event will begin with an introduction by the Student Union HYY. They will explain what a student representative does, why their role is significant, how student representatives impact the university experience, and how to apply. Following this, a current international student representative will share their personal journey and experiences, giving you an inside look at the role. The session will conclude with a Q&A where you can ask questions and gain more insights.
This autumn, we are specifically looking for student representatives for the steering groups of degree programmes. Whether you're an international or local student, this event is a great opportunity to explore student leadership and find out how you can get involved. Mark your calendar and join us to learn how you can represent your peers and make a difference in the university!
