EDUFI traineeships abroad for higher education students (permanent residence in Finland required)

If you study at a Finnish higher education institution or have recently graduated from one, you can apply for an EDUFI traineeship abroad. An EDUFI traineeship will support your studies and expand your working life skills. Application rounds take place twice a year: the spring round of applications is open from February 27 to March 13, 2025 (4.15 PM Helsinki time).

EDUFI traineeships abroad, awarded by the Finnish National Agency for Education, are meant for students in higher education and recently graduated higher education students. Please note that the general application criteria to apply for an EDUFI traineeship include Finnish citizenship or permanent residence in Finland. This means that if you are in Finland only for studying or another temporary reason, you are not eligible for an EDUFI traineeship position. In most of the placements, you also need to know Finnish.
