Extended opening hours at the Kumpula Campus Library with an access tag

From Monday 19 October 2026, degree students at the University of Helsinki will be able to access the Kumpula Campus Library using their access tag from Monday to Friday, 17:00 to 20:00.

The library is open to everyone Mon–Fri 8:00–17:00, and the customer service desk is open 10:00–17:00. To enter the library with your access tag after 17:00, use the door to the right of the Physicum main entrance.

In Kumpula, you can pick up a free access tag from the key service point in the Chemicum entrance hall (A. I. Virtasen aukio 1) by presenting your student card. The access tag is personal and must not be lent to anyone else, even temporarily.
