Mental health well-being groups at FSHS

The FSHS selection of group activity services related to mental health consists of StressLess training groups, Depression School and anxiety management groups. In addition to these, service units may provide other groups as well.

Our group activity approach is practical, offering participants information about challenges related to mental health. Participants learn self-treatment techniques and can share experiences with their peers dealing with similar problems. The focus of our groups is on learning new skills to tackle mental health challenges. Each participant can share their own experiences in the group to the extent they feel comfortable with. All participants are also required to keep experiences shared in group discussions as confidential.

Influenza vaccinations

Influenza vaccinations for 2026–2027 will begin at various FSHS service units in October or November. Vaccination appointments can be booked from week 42 onwards. Social and healthcare students in higher education, as well as students belonging to a risk group can receive their influenza vaccinations from the FSHS free of charge. Other students can, if they wish, purchase the vaccine at a pharmacy at their own expense. More information on YTHS.fi.
