Then this event is for YOU!

Seven diverse Universities are joining forces for a ground-breaking matchmaking event, bringing together entrepreneurial minds with business, technology, creative, research, artistic, design, VR/AR, engineering, and software backgrounds.

Hosted by Arcada University of Applied Sciences Entrepreneurship Hub, Aalto University’s Aalto Digital Creatives, Hanken Business Lab, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, the University of Helsinki’s Helsinki Incubators, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences’ Turbiini Campus Incubator and Uniarts Helsinki Hub to create diverse talent density in a singular location: The University of Helsinki’s Soc&Kom, Helsinki. The outcome? All the talent you need to build a successful team with diverse skills in one location. We’re doing the heavy lifting, so all you have to do is show up. 

The event will launch with our hosts providing an introduction about team building, our partners, and how matchmaking will work. Then we’ll jump right into a mix and match session where you’ll be able to engage and interact with your potential future business partner, co-founder, or even an entire team. We also have a dedicated space for pre-established teams to meet and seek potential co-founders, team members or talents with a specialised skill set. These meetings can be booked in advance on DealRoom Events. We’ll also have a workshop to help you develop some of those entrepreneurial skills, as well as a pitching open mic competition where the best pitch will be rewarded!
