Take part in Well-Being Tuesdays' Events

On Tuesdays various organisers advancing student health and well-being will be holding information sessions and giving advice on how you can improve your well-being and get support in your studies in the Guidance Corner. During the Autumn 2020 all the Well-being Tuesday events will be held online on Zoom. See the themes of this autumn's remaining Well-being Tuesdays:
 

  • Climate anxiety 27.10. klo 15-16.30 (in English)
    Climate change and ecological disruption impact mental health and increase our emotional distress causing experiences of anxiety, depression, and hopelessness. Workshop offers you tools to experience and handle your emotions, and possibilities to discuss and share your experiences together with other participants.
     
  • Everyone Is Lonely Sometimes 3.11. klo 15.00-16.30 (in English)
    Do you feel lonely or do you want to support those who suffer from loneliness? You are warmly welcome to come and share your thoughts on the issue.
     
  • How do you get started when you just don’t feel like it? 10.11. klo 15-16.30 (in Finnish)
    Do you have a study task and it is difficult to begin? In the beginning of the webinar there will be an introduction to how to tackle procrastination and starting unconfortable study tasks. Come and hear and share your tips on how to start a task when it is difficult.
     
  • Everyone Is Lonely Sometimes 24.11. klo 15.00-16.30 (in Swedish)
    Do you feel lonely or do you want to support those who suffer from loneliness? You are warmly welcome to come and share your thoughts on the issue.
     
  • Mindful breathing moment: Self-compassion for managing stress 1.12. klo 15.00-16.30 (in Finnish)
    In this workshop, you can come and discuss stress with the councellor from Nyyti ry and fellow students: what is stress? What effects does it have in your life and what are your tools to manage it? During this session, you will have a chance to develop your stress coping mechanisms and do some relaxing excersises.
