Thank you for taking part in recording everyday life at the University!
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the ‘Everyday life at the University’ photo collection – we received a total of 40 photos from all over the University!
The Helsinki University Museum Flame will store all the photos in the Museum collection. In addition, the photos will be put to a festive display for the University community at a later date.
Another round next year? Tell us your thoughts!
In the ‘Everyday life at the University’ photo collection, we asked the community to take their own photos of their everyday working or studies. The campaign was carried out between 27 February and 26 March 2024.
The aim was to record University life beyond celebrations and events – and to offer the community a snapshot of what it’s like to work and study at the University in the spring of 2024.
This year’s photo collection was the first of its kind, and we are currently considering whether to organize the campaign anew next year. If you’d like, let us know on Flamma if you’d like to see the photo collection continue every year – and what would inspire you to take part in recording everyday life at the University!
