Welcome to Chancellor’s value-oriented coffee session in Kumpula June 4
Truth, Bildung, freedom and inclusivity – What do they mean to us?
How are the University’s values reflected in our work and everyday lives? How do they shape our community? Join the chancellor’s coffee sessions focused on values to explore these questions.
In the spring, the following discussion sessions will be held on the City Centre and Kumpula Campuses. Sessions to be held in the autumn Meilahti and Viikki will focus on the themes of freedom and Bildung.
☕ Inclusivity | 30 April from 9.00 to 10.30, Think Corner
☕ Truth | 4 June from 13.15 to 14.45, Exactum, room B123, Kumpula
Panelists: Minna Palmroth, Tuomas Heikkilä, Mikael Niku, Sini Arkko
In each event, we will take a deep dive into one value under the guidance of the panellists. The discussions will be hosted by Ville Blåfield. The sessions are primarily in Finnish, but contributions in other languages are also welcome.
🖌️ Values become art
Inspired by the reflections in the sessions, artist Suvi Nurmi will create a visual and conceptual work that reflects the values of our University community.
🎁 Value tote bags for participants!
Each participant will receive a University of Helsinki tote bag communicating the theme (220 bags per event).
Light refreshments will be served. No advance registration is required.
Join us in building meaningful discussion!
