Meet the rector and vice-rectors at UniTalks events open to all!
The University’s senior leadership, who began their term of office in the autumn, will hold UniTalks community events open to all on the campuses between January and April 2024. At these events, members of the University community can meet with the rector, vice-rectors and the director of administration to discuss topical matters.
UniTalks events are held on site and there's a coffee service for all participants.
“Please join us for discussion at these events! We hope to meet as many members of the University community as possible. Continuous and direct dialogue is important, not least for strengthening university democracy,” Rector Sari Lindblom says.
UniTalks provide the opportunity to discuss current issues with the senior leadership. The sessions highlight the role of the University in the face of societal pressure for change. Topics discussed include the situation of international students and staff; community wellbeing; the University’s role and success in light of societal expectations; the University’s financial situation; and internal development projects, such as the assessment of the operating structure and management system, the assessment of services and the development of digital services.
