In 2024, the National Library celebrates the jubilee year of the Slavonic Library. The program continues 25.4. with event Slavonic Library at the crossroads of history featuring an open public lecture: Under the patronage of the Empire (Keisarivallan suojeluksessa) – Slavonic Library from the 1840s to the beginning of the 20th century. Speaker: Historian Rainer Knapas. Note: Language of the event is Finnish.
