Applications for researcher carrels at the National Library are open

The National Library offers researchers and students researcher facilities for long-term use on application. The application period for the the second half of 2024 is from the 6th of May to the 2nd of June.

The following facilities can be applied for

• Researcher carrels in the South Hall, 6 months (1.7.–31.12.2023), 11 carrels,
• Researcher carrels in the Slavonic Library, 4 months (1.9.–31.12.2023), 2 carrels.

The researcher carrels can be applied by filling in the application form.
Successful applicants will be notified by the 13th of June. 

The selection criteria include the researcher’s need of the resources of the National Library (especially material restricted to reading room loans), the researcher’s or student's current working conditions and the weekly amount of time the researcher would use the workstation.
