The renovation of the Learning Centre Aleksandria started in June and will last for the academic year 2024-2025. While Aleksandria is closed, a variety of places to read and work can be found in Kaisa House, as well as in other locations on the City Centre Campus, the campus libraries and in the surroundings of the city centre.

The new Study spaces page includes spaces for both individual and group work. For example, the National Library, located in the neighbouring block of Kaisa House, has several reading rooms for quiet work. Silent reading areas are also available at the Finnish Literary Society's Library in Kruununhaka. Group work can be done in the Think Corner and the UniCafés in Metsätalo and Topelia after lunchtimes. The campus libraries, Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki, also provide study spaces for different needs.

More space to work in the Kaisa House

Study space for various purposes has been added on different floors of the Kaisa House. On the 2nd floor of the library there are now more computer workstations and on the 3rd floor in room 3007 there are designer workstations with Adobe software. In addition, rooms have been opened on floors 5 and 6 for both group work and quiet work. More study space will be coming later in the autumn semester.
