Everyday Life at the University – explore the results of the photo collection

In spring 2024 we asked members of the University community to capture their everyday lives in photos. In response, we received 40 shots of typical activities and situations across the University.

The community first had the chance to see the results at the opening ceremony of the academic year when a selection of the photos formed part of the festive backdrop.

Now, all the photos received are available for viewing on the University’s Flickr account.

The Helsinki University Museum Flame has also archived the photos in its collections. Thank you to everyone who sent us their contributions!

The photo collection will return next year

Community and student communications will organise a new everyday photo collection campaign next year.
