To mark the national Digital Security Week (30 September–4 October), the IT Center will organise a webinar, Digital Security at the University, on various current topics related to digital security. Sign up – the best questions will be rewarded with University-themed laptop stickers!

The Digital Security at the University webinar is aimed at all University staff and students and will be organised as a Zoom webinar during the Digital Security Week on Tuesday, 1 October from 9.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. There will be a discussion with the webinar guests about the topics announced in the programme. We also welcome your questions about digital security – you can write your questions to us in advance when signing up or ask questions in the chat during the event. The webinar will be held in Finnish, but you can also ask questions in English and in Swedish. The webinar recording will also be subtitled in Swedish and in English.

Don't hesitate to ask questions. The best will be rewarded with fun stickers featuring the Information Security Cat and the University's flame logo!

9.10 a.m. Digital security & mobile devices at the University – What is the recently launched mobile device management project about? Jarkko Seppälä, Project Manager, as the guest.

9.30 a.m. The University's autumn 2024 information security news – What is the current status of information security at the University and how can we influence it? Kenneth Kahri, Information Security Manager, as the guest.

10.05 a.m. Digital security & the use of generative artificial intelligence to support work and            studies – the latest artificial intelligence news and discussion on the topic. Petteri Hemmilä, IT Manager, and Kenneth Kahri, Information Security Manager, as the guests.

10.45 a.m. University Data Support – What is Data Support and what does it offer to University staff and students? Soile Manninen, Information Specialist, as the guest.
