New at the University? The Ask Me! -campaign helps you get started

Where in the Porthania building is the P673 lecture room? What about the nearest UniCafe? Where can I borrow books or find a quiet place to study? 

The entire University community is very much looking forward to the spring term and new members of the community. To make their start as smooth as possible and the threshold for asking questions as low as possible, the Ask Me! -campaign is held from 13 to 17 January. In January, there will be a special focus on international students, as the majority of new students starting in January are exchange students.

University staff will also have Ask Me! -pins or t-shirts. We hope that new students will be encouraged to ask us all the questions that preoccupy them. You can ask questions in English, Finnish or Swedish.

• On Monday 13 January: general introduction of the campaign
• On Wednesday 15 January: we give tips on what to do on a winter day in Helsinki and how to make yourself as comfortable as possible in winter
