Sodexo news: plastic collection, flavours of the world and Shrove buns

Sodexo team in the main building hopes you’ve had a good start to the year 2025! We’ve had a quite busy beginning of the year. Our Café Civis was open during The Science Forum 8th to 12th of January, and we had lots of guests! 

Our focus is on sustainability and inclusivity this year. We started the action according to sustainability by a campaign against food waste the second week of January and by collecting and sorting plastic. There will be several campaigns within this theme this year aiming to make it a new normal way to act in the future. 

Various food themes 

Our first food theme was “Chef´s Table” in middle of January. Sodexos chef´s have created new Vegan dishes according to our responsibility theme. There will be yet more themes to come, already in February Korean tastes, in April Italian cuisine and Tex-Mex in June.

Taste our delicious Shrove buns! 

Shrove day will be celebrated in March this year, so we will have the whole February in front of us to eat Shrove buns! Do you like your bun with jam or almond…or with something else?
