Czech Republic

By selecting a degree programme you are able to see the general content as well as the possible degree programme-specific content. You do not have to select a degree programme to see the Open University's instructions.

Czech Republic is a centrally located, well-connected base for exploring Europe, with Prague and Brno offering easy rail and bus access to nearby capitals. English works well in academic and social contexts, though basic Czech is useful and appreciated. Nature is close at hand, from forests and rolling hills to national parks suited for hiking, cycling, and winter sports. Costs are moderate compared to Nordic countries, and everyday expenses—housing, transport, and culture—are generally affordable. Cities are safe with reliable public transport, and the seasonal climate brings warm summers and cold winters.
