Instructions for ECGS students

As a student in ECGS programme you can in theory choose exchange destinations from the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, and Faculty of Social Sciences. Please ensure that you have sufficient background, especially for master's level courses. If you wish to choose Faculty of Social Sciences destination's courses on master level, you need to have bachelor’s degree background in social sciences.

General description 

Bursa Technical University was established in 2010 as the 5th technical university in Turkey and the 2nd state university in Bursa. The university is situated in Yıldırım, a district of Bursa that is famous for its industry, summer and winter tourism. Bursa is the fourth biggest city in Turkey and is located one and a half hour away from Istanbul. The first capital city of the Ottoman Empire, Bursa has a rich cultural heritage.

Other important matters

  • Bursa Technical University continues its educational activities in Mimar Sinan and Yıldırım Bayezid Campuses. Both campuses are in the city center and are within walking distance to public transportation and metro stations.
