Welcome to the National Library of Finland! Come and make most of our extensive collections, quiet study areas, and enjoy lunch or coffee at Unicafe Rotunda.

Order the National Library Card 

You can borrow materials from the National Library with the National Library Card. Pre-order the card via Application for a National Library Card form, and collect the card from the library service desk, remember to bring personal identification (Passport or EU Identity Card) with you. Please note that home loans are available for holders of a Finnish national identity code, but reading room loans and reference library are available for international patrons also.

During September the applicants of National Library Card will receive the National Library badge!
