Chancellor’s coffee conversations on values in Viikki Oct 1 and Meilahti Oct 2: Come for a chat, leave inspired & with a University totebag

Truth, Bildung, freedom and inclusivity – What do they mean to us? How are the University’s values reflected in our work and everyday lives? How do they shape our community? Join the chancellor’s coffee conversations on values to explore these questions.

This autumn’s sessions will take place on the Viikki and Meilahti campuses. The Viikki session will be primarily in Finnish and the Meilahti session in English. Contributions are welcome in other languages too.

Each event will focus on a single value, explored in depth with insights from panellists. The discussion will be led by Liisa Mayow.

🖌️ Values become art

Inspired by the reflections in the sessions, artist Suvi Nurmi will create a visual and conceptual work that reflects the values of our University community. The spring 2025 coffee conversations were held on the City Centre Campus (inclusivity) and in Kumpula (truth).
