Do you want to know what kind of learner you are? HowULearn provides feedback on your study methods and tips for developing them
Do you want to know what kind of learner you are? Are you looking for tips on how to develop your study methods? Do you ever wonder how everyone else is studying?
HowULearn is not just any survey, but a tool for supporting your learning. When using the tool, you will respond to statements and questions about your study methods, your own beliefs about your performance, and study-related burnout. After submitting your answers, you will receive personalised feedback on your study and learning methods as well as tips on how to develop them.
You will also be able to compare your own results to the average score of other respondents in your degree programme. At the same time, you provide your degree programme with feedback on, for example, whether your studies have felt meaningful to you and whether you feel you’ve received useful feedback from teachers. The degree programmes do not have access to your personal information or individual answers, and answers are examined purely on a group level.
The system is solidly based on research, and the provided feedback is derived from tips from counselling psychologists, researchers and experts in the field of higher education pedagogy. The feedback can be used in developing your own study methods and in PSP guidance.
The survey is taken three times during your bachelor’s studies and once during your master’s studies. You will receive an email notification once the survey is open. The survey can be accessed by logging in to the Unihow system using your University credentials. You can read your feedback after your degree programme closes the survey. You will receive an email notification once your feedback is available on UniHow.
