Applications for researcher facilities at the National Library are open

The National Library offers researchers and students researcher facilities for long-term use on application. The application period for the the second half of 2026 is from the 21st of May to the 7th of June.

The following facilities can be applied for

• 10 researcher carrels in the South Hall for the period of 1.7.–31.12.2026.
• 4 researcher carrels in the Slavonic Library for the period of 1.9.-31.12.2026.

The researcher carrels can be applied by filling in the application form. Successful applicants will be notified by the 12th of June.

The selection criteria include the researcher’s need of the resources of the National Library, active use of the workspace and library's services and the researcher’s current working conditions.
