New Master’s Programme in International Food Business and Gastronomy Launching – Pilot Courses Coming!
A new international Master’s Programme is being established in the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Helsinki, with applications opening in January 2027. The Master’s Programme in International Food Business and Gastronomy will begin in August-September 2027.
Three pilot courses are planned already for the 2026–2027 academic year, including a field course on food tourism in Mikkeli, as well as courses on sustainable gastronomy and international food business offered through the Open University.
The programme will grant Master of Science degrees, initially accepting 20 students. More information will be available on the studyinfo.fi website in June 2026.
