Part of the Infocenter's services in Viikki will reopen on Monday, August 24
Repair work following the water damage in July is progressing. The building's access routes are changing, and some services will be able to reopen.
On Monday, August 24, an access route to the Information Center will open from the entrance on the Viikinkaari side, which is near the Viikki Science Park tram stop. The main entrance will be closed, and the basement and first floor will largely be construction zones, accessible only for construction-related purposes and by special arrangement.
On Monday, August 24, a lobby service desk will open in the space next to the entrance. The desk will be open from August 24–28 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and thereafter from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The HelsinkiUniHelp service desk will open its doors in temporary premises on Monday, August 24. The service desk is located in the Infocentre building, in the pace facing Viikinkaari, and will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every weekday.
The University Library will open a service desk and reading rooms on the second floor on Monday, August 31. Access to the second floor is by elevator only; signs are posted at the entrance. The library is open on weekdays (Mon–Fri) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the customer service desk is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
