When you search for a degree programme by name or by part of the name the options in the list of degree programmes below the search field is narrowed down. After this you have to choose the degree programme from the list.

The right to complete a doctoral degree does not automatically entitle a doctoral candidate to work facilities at the University. Unfortunately, the University is not able to offer office space to all doctoral candidates.
Helsinki University Library provides doctoral candidates with the tools and work facilities they need for efficient research work on all four University of Helsinki campuses.
Each University of Helsinki doctoral candidate will have an automatically created researcher profile in the University’s public Research Portal once he or she is granted the right to complete a doctoral degree. Researchers can use their profile page as their CV wherever they go.
Scholarly publishing is an essential element of doctoral research, whether the doctoral candidate is writing an article-based doctoral thesis or a monograph.
