It is still possible to register for some Language Centre courses!

It is still possible to register for some Language Centre courses that start in the 1st period. Registration is open in Sisu. Registration will end on Thursday 27.8. at 23.59 or when the groups are full. Groups are filled on a first-come, first-served basis with direct registration.

Language Centre’s teaching programme has been published in the Courses section and in Sisu.

Academic Communication Competence course as a conference (Finnish) is organized in the second period. On the course, you will work independently in Moodle and attend the conference on 16 November 2026 from 10.15 to 15.45.  

The course will give you the chance to delve into an interaction-related theme of your choice and examine your notion of yourself as a communicator through interaction research. The conference is a joint event for the entire course group, including keynote speeches by teachers. Students will work in small groups on themes related to interaction. At the conference, you’ll get to meet students from a variety of fields and network.
