Bulletin 19.2.2024

In March, the Language Centre Student Advice will merge with the Kaisa House Student Advice. Thanks to the change, advice for language studies will be available with wider opening hours starting March 12 – and from the same place where you can also get other student advice.

In the new and improved Kaisa House Student Advice we:

  • advise you with questions related to annual registration, study rights and student benefits.
  • offer advice for questions related to Language Centre course offerings, course registrations, the language studies required for your degree, and the recognition of prior language studies.
  • help you with general and technical questions related to Sisu, for example problems with the study plan, course registrations or partially completed changes.
  • can update changes to your personal information in the student register when needed.
  • can give you for example official transcripts of records, certificates of student status, meal subsidy cards and annual stickers to the student card.
  • can fill out different forms and certificates, for example HSL-forms for student discounted tickets.

There are many ways to be in touch with us – choose the one that best suits your needs: we offer advice at the Kaisa House service point, on Zoom, by email and via chat. We also offer regular pop-up advice for using Sisu at the Kaisa House Guidance Corner. More information and our opening hours are available on the page Student Advice

Due to the merger, the Language Centre’s own advice chat will be closed starting from February 29. The interruption to the chat service will be brief, however, as starting from March 12 you can be in touch with the Kaisa House Student Advice chat service also with matters related to language studies.

Questions on the merger? If something concerns you, you can always be in touch with the Kaisa House Student Advice!
