March updates in Career Services and on JobTeaser - see e.g. traineeships in EU institutions

This monthly bulletin brings together the current events and services offered by Career Services. You can find all our services and instructions on the Work and Career page and the Traineeships page. Our services are available to you right from the beginning of your studies and up to one year after graduation.

Are you wondering what your next step could be in terms of future or career planning? Would you like someone to listen to your thoughts or provide tips on where to find additional information to support your considerations? Come and meet a career counsellor on campus without an appointment! 

You are welcome to any campus, regardless of where you usually study. The meeting is limited to a maximum of 20 minutes. Kindly be prepared to wait for your turn. To see the dates for all campus meetings during the spring, please check the Career Services' Guidance and Counselling page. 

Drop-In Support for Job Search (fi, en) 

• 26.3.2024 at 12.00–14.00, Zoom 

Are you seeking guidance on how to apply for a job or traineeship position? Do you need practical tips for job search or drafting your CV, job application, or LinkedIn profile, or would you like to get feedback on them? Welcome to our Drop-in support for job search on Zoom! 

No registration needed, individual time slots 20 minutes each. The Zoom link and instructions for attending are available on the Career Services' Guidance and Counselling page. 

Apply for a traineeship in EU institution 

The application period for several EU traineeship programmes is now underway in February-March.

• The application for the European Commission's Blue Book traineeship programme ends on March 15. You can apply for a Blue Book internship twice a year, and there are a total of around 1,000 paid traineeships.
• Other open traineeships in EU institutions (EPSO)

A few tips to use JobTeaser

In the Jobs module, you can open a more detailed job and internship search by clicking "All filters". You can view the positions offered by Finnish employers by selecting the "Targeted jobs" section. Your most recent search is saved in the view. To change the language version to English, scroll to the bottom of the page. To view the most recent ads, change the selection from "by relevance" to the setting "by date".
