The United for Ukraine event gathers Helsinki residents to Senate Square on Sunday, August 24 at 3 pm to show their support to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
Join us for the opening ceremony of the 2025–2026 academic year on Monday, 1 September
The event can also be viewed via live stream at Think Corner or on our YouTube channel. After the formal ceremony, the opening carnival will take over the city centre campus!

The hosts provide support and advice on how to use the facilities, help you solve everyday study problems and find the services you need.
Annual registration for academic year 2025–2026 ends on September 1
Annual registration is no small deal, so make sure you take care of it in good time. If you are a basic degree student, remember to also pay the student healthcare fee.
The renewed Learning Centre Aleksandria opens on Tuesday 1 July 2025
Aleksandria opens to students after a year-long renovation. The renewal will bring with it more than 300 workstations, new facilities and plenty of group study rooms.
