Advance info: Pride 2024 at the University

Helsinki Pride brings people together and makes room for all shades of the rainbow. Pride month will be celebrated throughout June and Helsinki Pride will culminate in Pride Week 24.6.–30.6.2024. The parade and park celebration will take place on Saturday June 29.

During the week, the University offers a variety of events for the entire University community. Here's a sneak peek to the planned programme – check it out and join us in June!

Preview of the Pride programme

26.6.2024 at 15–17 Pride café for students in the Guidance Corner of Kaisa House (3rd floor).
29.6.2024 joint start to take part in the Pride parade with the Student Union of the University of Helsinki. Signing up is voluntary but recommended. (More information later)
24.6.–30.6.2024 University of Helsinki will be flying the flag for equality on all campuses during the Pride week

Changes and additions to the programme are still possible. We follow the principles of safer space in all our events (hyy.fi).
