Approaching graduation? Save your secondary email address to Sisu before submitting your graduation request
During your studies, the University email address is the primary email address for every student. Use your University email for all messaging related to your studies – and follow up on incoming messages regularly.
In addition to your University email, you can also add a secondary email address to Sisu. When you add a secondary address to Sisu:
- You will receive the download link for your degree certificate at both addresses when you graduate.
- You will be entered into the Alumni Register – should you so wish – with an email address that can be used to reach you after your University email expires. As an alumnus, you get to keep in touch with the University and have access to a wide range of alumni benefits.
- The University can reach you after graduation if necessary – and during your studies if you have registered as non-attending.
Add your secondary email address to your personal information on the My profile page in Sisu. If you already have a secondary address in your records, please check that it is still up to date before submitting your graduation request.
Please note that when you receive the degree certificate download link, you need a valid University username, so download your certificate as soon as you receive it. If you graduate in the spring term, your user ID is valid until the end of September. If you graduate in the autumn term, your user ID is valid until the end of January.
