International gatherings

The instruction belongs to the following themes

By selecting a degree programme you are able to see the general content as well as the possible degree programme-specific content. You do not have to select a degree programme to see the Open University's instructions.

International events are for everyone – international students, internationally minded Finnish students, and everyone in between. Meet new people and make new friends at our low-treshold events.

English-language events

No upcoming international events listed on this page? Don't despair – this page lists only events that are aimed especially for the international and internationally-minded community. Some events are held throughout the year, but the focus is on the fall semester.

While waiting for new international events, the University arranges plenty of English-language events on other topics you can take part in. Events are offered for example related to wellbeing, ability to study and other study skills.

You can browse all the different event pages under the theme Events during the academic year.

Ambassador Cafes are held in English and all internationally minded students are welcome! Coffee & tea are on the house.
