Language Centre's curriculum in Chinese

Suitable courses for degrees

These courses and tests completely / partially fulfil the foreign language (4 cr) requirement in the bachelor's degree. NB! Foreign language studies must include both written and oral skills of the language.

Exemption test

According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the beginning skill level for the first foreign language required for a degree must be B2 in English, and B1 in other languages. Language skills required for a degree may be demonstrated by taking a exemption test. For Arabic, Chinese, Danish and Estonian, the student must first verify that their faculty will accept one of these languages as the first foreign language in a degree.

Language Centre programmes in Chinese language

The minimum requirement to complete a programme is 15 or 25 credits. First check the Language Centre’s language-specific requirements for Programmes, and contact the responsible teacher. If you have already begun studies in a language and wish to complete an entire programme in that language, contact the responsible teacher of the language in question. You should also contact the responsible teacher if your study plan changes during your studies and whenever you need advice on choosing language courses.
