When you search for a degree programme by name or by part of the name the options in the list of degree programmes below the search field is narrowed down. After this you have to choose the degree programme from the list.

First steps of a joint degree student
As a joint degree student, your physical stay in Helsinki usually lasts between four to nine months. Some instructions are therefore different for you compared to those students who are in Helsinki for the entire duration of their degree. Orientation and Tutoring
As a new degree student, you will start your studies with an orientation period under the guidance of a student tutor. On this page you will find information about orientation and tutoring.
University user accounts
At the start of your studies, you get access to a University username that is used to log into email, Sisu, Moodle and other services. Remember to activate your user account in good time before your studies start.
Updating your personal information and contact details
When your personal or contact information changes, if needed, remember to notify the university about the changes. When your study right as a degree student is active and your Finnish social security code is added to Sisu, some data is automatically transferred from the Population Data System to Sisu.
