Everyone who has got their degree from the University of Helsinki, and all of the university's exchange students and staff members are considered its alumni.
Studying after graduation
After graduating from a Bachelor’s programme, you can proceed to one of the assigned Master’s programmes.
Most faculties can grant the right to pursue non-degree studies to applicants who are not enrolled as degree students at the University of Helsinki.
Frequently asked questions
You can request an official copy of your degree diploma in its original language. If you need a copy, order one from the Student Service point for your faculty and pay the associated fee. Official copy costs 8 € apiece.
The University does not provide translations of degree diplomas, not even into Finnish, Swedish or English. If you need a translation of your degree diploma, you will have to arrange the translation yourself. The University of Helsinki recommends you use an authorised translator.
