Important dates regarding graduation in the Faculty of Science during spring term 

If your study right is ending or you want to graduate by the end of spring term 2024 (last day of spring term is 31 Jul), please submit the graduation request in Sisu by 31 July 2024. All the studies included in the degree must be completed by the time you submit the request (i.e., the latest date of completion in Sisu). 

Please make all the necessary applications for your study plan in Sisu (applications concerning the content of a study plan, applying for a credit transfer and applying for module content approval) well in advance before submitting the graduation request. The graduation request cannot be processed if the structure of your study plan is against the degree structure rules in Sisu.

We recommend submitting the graduation request well in advance before the last deadline, if possible. Please note that the degree registration and diploma delivery delay are longer than usual during the end of the academic term when there are many applications. The graduation requests will not be processed in July, but possible delays will not affect your graduation day. 

Please note, if you wish to receive the diploma (printed document) by the end of the academic term, the graduation request must be submitted 1 June at the latest.

Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Ceremony will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2024.
