Winter orientation event for new and returning students at the Faculties of Arts and Theology

Are you starting your studies at the Faculty of Arts or at the Faculty of Theology in January 2026? Or are you coming back after a longer break? Or did you miss the autumn orientation for the new students? 

The Faculties of Humanities and Theology are organizing orientation and student tutoring for the new incoming exchange students (January 2026) and new international degree students, in English. For more information, please check the Orientation schedule (please choose a degree programme of the Faculty of Arts/Humanities to see the faculty’s orientation schedule). 

If you study in Finnish or Swedish, you are welcome to the Winter Orientation of the two faculties, on Thursday 9 January 2025 at 13.00-15 in Metsätalo, room B308 (room 12), Unioninkatu 40, Helsinki. The orientation takes place before the spring term teaching starts. After the info, participants can get guidance with Sisu system and their personal study plans. This info will be hold in Finnish, but questions can also be asked in Swedish and English.
