Changes to housing benefits – read instructions and apply for the new housing supplement in good time
Student housing allowances will change in August. The changes concern you only if you receive financial aid from the Finnish Social Security Institution Kela.

Access control for students’ self-study facilities will be renewed – get a new access tag and return your old night-use tag
The access control of the University’s degree students’ self-study facilities will be renewed. The new service will be available from 20 May 2025 onward.
Collective agreement approved, announced staff strike cancelled
A settlement has been reached on the collective agreement for Finnish universities. The staff strike planned for Tuesday May 27 is cancelled and University functions will continue normally.

The National Library offers researchers and students research facilities for long-term use on application. The application period for the the second half of 2025 is 5.5–1.6.2025.
