Advice and guidance for language studies

The instruction belongs to the following themes

By selecting a degree programme you are able to see the general content as well as the possible degree programme-specific content. You do not have to select a degree programme to see the Open University's instructions.

You can contact the teachers, teacher tutors and Student Services of the Language Centre if you have questions regarding the recognition of previous language studies or suitable language courses, you want more information about the contents of the language courses and examinations, you want advice regarding your own language proficiency, or you need support with independent studies.

Teachers’ office hours

Questions about the content of courses and/or examinations should be addressed to teachers during their office hours or in class. Teachers will have office hours during the teaching periods with the exception of the intensive period in May.

You can find the teachers, faculty coordinators and their office hours from the following page in the section Language Centre teachers' office hours.

Teacher tutoring

If you have any questions or concerns regarding language studies or your proficiency, contact a Language Centre teacher tutor.

Student Services

Student Services at the Language Centre provide information about topics such as course registration, the language studies required for your degree, and the recognition of prior language studies.
