Bulletin 1.4.2025

Every degree student’s annual duty is here again: the annual registration for the academic year 2025-2026 starts April 1 and ends September 1, 2025.

Every basic degree student (i.e. every first- or second-cycle degree student) and doctoral researcher must register as either attending or non-attending during this period. If you have several valid study rights, remember to register for each study right separately.

Annual registration is no small deal, so make sure you take care of it in good time – if you forget to register, you will lose your study right and will have to reactivate it to continue your studies.

Registration is done in Oili (unless you are liable to pay a tuition fee, in which case see below), where you log in with your University user account. If you have been registered as non-attending during the previous academic year, your user account will be automatically activated for April–August to enable registration.

Please keep in mind to also take care of the Student Union (HYY) membership fee as a part of the annual registration. All basic degree students are members HYY. For doctoral researchers, the membership is voluntary.

If you are liable to pay a tuition fee, you do not register in Oili. Instead, please follow the instructions for tuition-fee-liable students below. The Student Union membership fee is included in the tuition fee and you don’t have to pay it separately. If you have been exempted from paying tuition fees, please register in Oili.

For more information, read the instructions relevant to you and take care of registration already today:
