Intensive period at the Language Centre features multiple language and communication courses
Now is the time to plan for the final teaching period of the academic year! The Language Centre still has a wide variety of language and communication courses on offer, including in beginner and pre-intermediate Japanese conversation, as well as courses required for degree programmes.

Courses offered during the intensive period include:
English:
Academic and Professional Communication in English 1 & 2 (KK-ENKAIKKI, CEFR B2, 4 cr, contact teaching)
Advanced English: Business Communication (KK-EN402, CEFR B2, 2 cr, online teaching)
Spanish:
Open University: Spanish for Beginners 1 (KK-ESP001, CEFR A1, 4 cr, remote teaching)
This course is suitable for everyone without any prior Spanish skills. After completing the course, you will have basic proficiency in Spanish and skills for everyday circumstances and travel.
Curso oral – Oral Skills in Spanish (KK-ESP403, CEFR B2, 4 cr, remote teaching)
Practise and develop your oral skills in Spanish. The course focuses on, among other topics, storytelling, providing and receiving feedback, and discussing current themes.
Japanese:
Elementary Spoken Japanese 1 (KK-JAP103, CEFR A1, 1 cr, contact teaching)
Pre-intermediate Spoken Japanese (KK-JAP211, CEFR A2, 2 cr, contact teaching)
French:
Atelier d'écriture sur mesure – Intermediate Written Skills in French (KK-RAN306, CEFR B1, 2 cr, contact teaching)
Expression orale – Oral Skills in French (KK-RAN307, CEFR B1, 2 cr, contact teaching)
Swedish:
During the intensive period, the Language Centre offers several courses in oral and written skills in Swedish as the second national language (CEFR B1, 2 cr), required for degrees at several faculties, including KK-RUKASV, KK-RUTEOL and KK-RUMALU, as well as KK-RUKAIKKI for students at the City Centre Campus.
Russian:
Russian Grammar 1 (KK-VEN103, CEFR A1, 2 cr, online teaching)
Russian Listening Comprehension and Vocabulary (KK-VEN207, CEFR A2, 2 cr, online teaching)
