Sisu in non-degree studies and specialist training

By selecting a degree programme you are able to see the general content as well as the possible degree programme-specific content. You do not have to select a degree programme to see the Open University's instructions.

Your right to study and the studies you have completed will be recorded in Sisu. Sisu can also be used for planning studies, registering for courses, and electronic communication and applications.

On this page, you will find instructions on how to use Sisu as part of your studies.

You can log in to Sisu from the top menu of the page or directly at sisu.helsinki.fi.

Viewing and editing personal information

You can view and edit your personal information in Sisu on the My profile page, which you can find in Sisu's main menu.

On the page, you can view the following information:

  • study rights,
  • registrations,
  • completed credits,
  • applications and decisions,
  • groups (e.g., a possible guidance group), and
  • personal and contact information.

You can edit your contact information, the conditions for the disclosure of your information, and order, for example, a transcript of records.

See Sisu's visual user guides from the degree students' instructions:

Sisu marks the courses that you have completed with a laurel wreath icon and includes the grade. You can make the request to register a study module after you have completed all mandatory courses in the study module.
